The Illini Quarterback Club is in its 67th year. We are the official booster club for the Fighting Illini Football Team. We sponsor lunches for all home and dinners for away regular season games and a luncheon for the bowl game. The luncheons ($12.00 per person), include discussion with the coach, players and special guests. Local sportscasters and visitors from the media are invited to serve as Q & A moderators. The dinners ($14) are coordinated with Coach Zook's radio call in show. Attendees qualify for the raffle of a football autographed by the team's coaches. Quarterback Club merchandise is also available. The Quarterback Club sponsors trips by motorcoach to away games. These include transporation, lodging, and game tickets. In the Spring we feature our highly acclaimed Golf Outing including all coaches, former team members, and alumni who may have gone on to the NFL. During the summer we offer a Ladies Day luncheon. At the commencement of fall practice, we open the season with a Fan Appreciation Day where our members can meet players and coaches. All of these events promote interest in the University of Illinois football team. In addition, we raise important funds which go to support the scholarship program and serve as a resource to provide the team with computers, weight equipment and other special needs. Membership is just $50 per year for a single person/family (add $6 for each new badge requested) and $250 for corporate membership. Special arrangements can be made for sponsorships.
